ËÄÉ«AV of New Haven has been elevated to U.S. News’ National Universities category for the first time, joining a select group of approximately 425 institutions recognized among the nation’s best.
ËÄÉ«AV of New Haven has earned its best-ever rating in , marking another milestone in the University’s growing national profile and ongoing transformation.
For the first time, U.S. News has placed the University of New Haven in its , elevating the university from the North regional rankings in which it had been included for more than a decade. In the 2027 rankings, the University is ranked No. 276 among 425 colleges and universities in the national category. This places the University of New Haven among the top 10 percent of all degree-granting institutions across the U.S., demonstrating its continued rise across the national higher education landscape.
ËÄÉ«AV’s recognition extends across several U.S. News measures. ËÄÉ«AV of New Haven ranks among the top third of private colleges and universities in the National Universities category and among the top 60% , a measure that identifies colleges and universities that enroll and graduate a significant number of students receiving federal Pell Grants.
ËÄÉ«AV also earned recognition for a broad range of its undergraduate academic programs. This breadth of recognition comes at a time of extraordinary progress across the University.
